This Saturday night, July the 25th, the NLRA returns for the second and final time this season to the Greenbush Race Park in Greenbush, MN. Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom, won his second NLRA feature of the season, and his second overall at the three-eights mile oval during the NLRA series first stop this season, and first event in nearly four years at Greenbush on June 20th. Seng lead the final three laps after chasing down race long leader Ricky Weiss in traffic. Seng will head into Greenbush having won two of the last three NLRA series events, including last Saturday nights' outing at the Devils Lake Speedway.

The NLRA season continues on Saturday night, July the 18th, with the series 16th appearance at the Devils Lake Speedway near Doyon, ND. Two-time and defending NLRA champion, Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom, won last years' race, leading all 25 laps for his second career victory at the three-eighths mile oval. Steffen Snare, driver of the No. 71S High Mark Snowmobile Rentals Bloomquist, was second with Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Northstar Canada Black Diamond, finishing third, Steve Anderson, driver of the No. 9 Hi-Per-Flex Panel Systems Pierce fourth, and Zach Naastad, driver of the Q&Z Plumbing & Heating No. Z17 rounding out the top five.
Ricky Weiss, driver of the No. 7 Derrick's Sandblasting Bloomquist, won his 17th NLRA feature of his career, and fourth this season, last Thursday night at the Red River Co-Op Speedway in Winnipeg, MB. Weiss started on the outside of the front row, and lead all 25 laps. The best battle of the night was for the fifth through seventh spots as Steffen Snare, Bill Mooney, and Brad Seng went three-wide coming out of turn four on laps five, eight and nine. While this was going on, Mike Balcaen and Dustin Strand were not only fighting for the second spot, but also for the point lead atop the NLRA series standings. Strand took second with eleven laps to go and started cutting into the advantage held by Weiss. Strand pulled up alongside Weiss with to laps to go as they split the lapped car of Kevin Sexton, but Weiss got a good bite off the high side of turn two and held Strand off for the win. The final pass of the night was made by Brad Seng, as he took fourth from Cole Schill on lap 23.
The NLRA embarked on a grueling five race stretch last week, and only saw one event lost to rain, and two different winners. The action began an hour late on Wednesday night at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN, as a rain storm that his just before six o'clock. Ricky Weiss, driver of the No. 7 Derrick's Sandblasting Bloomquist, pulled away from a hard charging Don Shaw, and lead the final 21 laps to win his 14th career NLRA main event. The win gave Weiss sole posession of fourth on the all-time wins list, breaking a tie he held with Mitch Johnson.
Brad Seng won his third NLRA feature of the season, and 29th of his career Sunday night at the Buffalo River Race Park in Glyndon, MN. Seng took the lead from Donny Schatz on lap 15 and lead the remainder of the race. Cody Skytland finished second, with Mike Balcaen third, Schatz fourth, and Dustin Strand rounding out the top five. The busiest stretch of the NLRA season continues this week with a demanding run of five races in as many nights. The action starts on Wedesday night, June the 24th and Thursday night, June the 25th at the Norman County Raceway in Ada, MN. On Friday night, June the 26th, the drivers will head south to make the series first appearance at the I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls, MN. Saturday night, action continues for the second time this season at the Viking Speedway in Alexandria, MN, before the five race swing ends on Sunday night at the Buffalo River Race Park near Glyndon, MN.
Joey Pederson won his eighth career NLRA feature at the River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks Friday night, breaking a tie with former series champions Troy Schill and Troy Olson to put him in sole position of ninth on the wins list. Pederson dedicated the win to his friend Scott Volker, who is battling stage four liver cancer. Pederson got the jump on pole-sitter Mike Balcaen, driver of the No. 10 Northstar Canada Black Diamond, and lead flag-to-flag. Pederson was never able to build a comfortable lead, though, due to the high number of cautions during the race. Balcaen finished second, with Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom finishing third after a late charge from the seventh starting spot.

The NLRA season is set to invade the Jamestown Speedway, in Jamestown, ND, for the 20th time in series history on Saturday night, June the 13th. The quarter-mile oval on the Stutzman County Fairgrounds is a favorite of many the NLRA series regulars, and it returns to the NLRA schedule for two races in 2015. Two-time, and defending NLRA series champion Brad Seng, driver of the No. 12S S&S Transport MB Custom won last years' event in Jamestown, his first since 2003, and third overall, and finished runner-up to Jeff Wildung at the 43rd running of the Stampede last September.
Kevin Robertson held off a hard charging Eric Breeschoten for his first feature win at the I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls. Cody Skytland leads the points in Fergus Falls with NLRA series regular Cole Schill in second, just three points back. Brad Seng won his 44th feature at River Cities over Steve Anderson, while Mike Balcaen, Dustin Strand, and Bill Mooney rounded out the top five. Ricky Weiss won another feature in Winnipeg last Thursday night holding off Bill Mooney and Mike Balcaen. Weiss and Shane Edginton left Winnipeg and joined the Wissota Challenge Series in South Dakota.
